Dimitrios Moraros
Painter
Dimitris Morarros is from Volos. Born in 1957.
He studied Applied Arts in Athens with Ch. Mytaras and Painting as an assistant and student of John Tsarouhis in Maroussi and Paris (1975-1978). He studied Byzantine Painting at Karyes of Mount Athos by the monk Gerasimos.
He works as a painter, engraver and editor.
In 1990-1991 he lived in Chania. In 1991-2010 he lived in Thessaloniki. Today he lives in Volos.
He has participated in 39 group exhibitions and has organized the following solo exhibitions:

For the municipality of Skiathos, Calendar 2011, for the 100th anniversary of the passing of Al. Papadiamantis.
In 2014 the novels of John K. Tsegos from the “Publications of Friends.”
His works have been offered for Calendars 2008-9, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2016 and Museum of Olive Oil Pelion.
